A "Boolean" operator is what most people think of as a "logical" operator. That is "and" or "or". In Reva, the words && || are Boolean, in that they have the logic diagrams:

&&:

        true  false
true    true  false
false   false false

||:

        true  false
true    true  true
false   true  false

A related, but not quite the same, concept is bitwise operators.
