Hi, again!

It's rapidly coming up on ''pesaḥ'', the holiday where people whip around in a frenzy cleaning up their homes and cleaning out the stores. We've tried to be more calm and orderly about the process of getting ready, and I think this year we've had the easiest transition to ''pesaḥ''-ready we've ever had.

We've all been extremely busy this week. Mostly, we were shopping, so I won't bother telling you all about that -- believe me, it wasn't interesting. But Esther and I did donate blood, since the [http://www.mdais.com/ Magen David Adom] was conducting a blood drive here in Maale Adummim. Really, that was the highlight of the week...

This week Sarah will be spending ''shabbat'' at a friend's house. On the other hand, we've got six guests for lunch, none of whom we know, and with whom we don't have a common language. It should be interesting! Hopefully, they won't mind the ''shabbat''-before-''pesaḥ'' food: grilled hot-dogs, shepherd's pie, ''salat petitim'', ''tabouleh'', baked chicken, tomato soup, tuna salad, beets, egg salad and ''pita''.
