Finally, a week without notable physical activity! The ''seder'' doesn’t count…

We had a good ''seder'' with out-of-town friends. It was nice to get together again, and I’m assuming since nobody complained, that they also had a good time. It was rather cold, and there were some rain spasms, so we stayed indoors and talked, mostly.

Among other things I had to inform them of the various uses of, and differences between, [https://www.raspberrypi.com Raspberry Pi] and [https://www.arduino.cc Arduino] devices. Yes, it’s true, (some of) our friends are also nerds!

The butt-nugget who wrote the bit, one Douglas Emhoff (remember him?) neglected to mention, even in passing, that she’s Israeli. I guess “some people did something”, etc…

I spent some not-insignificant amount of time [https://mechon-mamre.org making changes] to the “Mechon Mamre” site. You may have to “reload” the pages to see the changes, but I think the overall effect is much nicer and less cluttered.

The weather was, as mentioned, cold and drear over the first part of the holiday, but has been getting warmer through the week. We expect above-average temperatures and sunny skies for ''shabbat'' and ''yom-ṭov''.

This ''shabbat'' is also the last day of ''pesaḥ''. We’re invited out for one meal; for the rest:
 
''matza'' (still!),
lamb and fava stew,
rice,
broccoli ''kugel'',
roasted eggplant,
tuna salad,
various salatim,
and various desserts.
