My MQ (Manliness Quotient) continues to be stratospheric!

I painted the kitchen, ceiling and walls. Then affixed our new [https://www.vilonet.co.il/shop_product/%D7%95%D7%99%D7%9C%D7%95%D7%A0%D7%95%D7%AA-%D7%96%D7%91%D7%A8%D7%94/%D7%95%D7%99%D7%9C%D7%95%D7%9F-%D7%92%D7%9C%D7%99%D7%9C%D7%94-%D7%96%D7%91%D7%A8%D7%94-%D7%90%D7%91%D7%9F “zebra blinds”]. Reinforced an “IKEA” cabinet. The kitchen now looks entirely different!

Finished the “chimney” for the BBQ, though it remains to be tested. Replaced our tattered flags, and did a bunch of gardening things.

We engaged in far more than our usual share of shopping, in preparation for next week’s shabbat/Pesach weekend.

So, we’re understandably worn out.

I would like to give a shout-out to the “Vilonet” people (the link for the blinds). They delivered exactly what we ordered, quickly, for a reasonable price. And they’re in Kiryat Shmoneh, which was hit hard during the northern missile attacks. Please consider supporting them, if you need blinds!

Aside from all the manly endeavors, we (mostly Esther, to be fair) have been rearranging things in the kitchen. True, this happens every year at this time; but ''this'' time it’s different, since we’ve got a “new” kitchen, you see? Surely by the time Rosh HaShanah rolls around I’ll have figured out where things are!

We’re ''very'' much looking forward to resting this ''shabbat''. The weather is supposed to be pleasant. Next week there’ll be another heat-wave, subsiding by the week-end. We would be much obliged were that the case…

and fruit.
