Happy birthday to me! In honor of my birthday, [https://www.timesofisrael.com/rules-for-israels-new-lockdown-what-you-need-to-know/ Israel commenced another lockdown]! This one is “for two weeks”, and is “the last lockdown”. I do believe we’ve heard those phrases in recent memory.

Sarah has ceased her employment in the retail sector, and is now (as in ''just'' now) starting as an executive assistant in an insurance brokerage. Better conditions and pay, and not opposite the public all day! We wish her success in the new position.

On my birthday, I awakened to news of the rioting in Washington, D.C., and the needless loss of life there. The

I just want to say that I am deeply saddened by what’s become of my birth-country, and I do believe we are witnessing the end of the Republic as we’ve known it. I’m sorry to tell you that so far, 2021 isn’t shaping up to be an improvement over its predecessor.

Also on my birthday, I made a [https://8th-dev.com/forum/index.php/topic,2248.msg13061.html new release of 8th], the first of 2021. So far no complaints, but it’s only been a day or so! This release includes a “constraint solver” as well as prototype-based OOP.

We’ve had quite warm weather, like early summer, this week! The warmth is to continue until next Thursday! Very strange January weather, indeed.
