Dear Readers: it turns out I didn’t return home completely unscathed. While there, I was given a cold by Master Joseph; but I got over that and thought I was in the clear. However, during or just after our return I came down with a second cold that developed into a sinus infection. I’m still not completely up to snuff, though not sniffling any more…

Despite being at more or less 25% capacity this week, I did manage to do a few things. I set up [https://mechon-mamre.org/shiurim.htm online “Zoom” lessons] for anyone interested in learning some Rambam. I did some “emergency” repairs to our drip-irrigation lines (still need to do more, though).

Esther’s fine, by the way: she doesn’t seem to be as susceptible as I am to others’ snot fragments.

Because of my being very much under the weather, last ''shabbat'' and the following holiday of ''shavuot'' were not as much fun as they could have been. I’m hopeful this coming ''shabbat'' I’ll be doing a lot better. Fortunately I’ve got a very helpful “better half”, who takes care of me.
