So… we‘re on tenterhooks wondering whether Orange Man or the Bearded Menace [https://www.jpost.com/israel-news/defense-news/article-898700 will screw us over] and prevent us from making our South American trip. The week started off with a “bang”, but fortunately quieted down (so far!). Oof…

Anyway, once again very busy; I finished up my “disaster-recovery” setup (in the event Bad Things happen to my servers), so at least that‘s done. I also made a new, fairly major, [https://8th-dev.com/forum/index.php?topic=3137.0 release of 8th]; so at least ''that‘s'' done! Now we can just sit-back and count down the days until lift-off.

I mentioned gastrointestinal issues around GLP-1 use, two weeks ago. Esther‘s now run that gauntlet, and it turns out [https://www.thefp.com/p/mayim-bialik-glp1-side-effects we‘re not alone], not at all. Hopefully the side-effects will become more bearable. In my case at least, the issues have “reversed” so that‘s — well, not “good”, exactly, but preferable anyway.

It‘ll be warm for ''shabbat'', though not roasting-hot. Since we‘re presumably traveling next week, friends have invited us for two meals, so we‘re only making:
