A month or so back I had mentioned having a technician come out to fix our “water-bar”; the problem being that it insisted on filling up the drain-catchment when in “shabbat-mode”. We had a tech come up, ''twice'', to “fix it”, to no avail. Finally, we got the company to agree to replace it, and this week we did just that. Now we‘ve got a shiny new machine, but it remains to be seen if it works better than the one it replaces. We‘ll let you know next week, B“H.

I must give a “shout-out” to my friend‘s son-in-law Gil, who mentioned (last ''shabbat'') that, when using ChatGPT for long-term work, it‘s better to use its notion of “projects” rather than “chats”… and, indeed, my experience (with the translation project) is ''much'' better now.
