So. We extended our stay in the US, and are still unsure what’s going to happen next week.<br />

The short story: my brother is extremely ill, and we’re trying to figure out how to make things work out in practice.<br />

It’s been an overwhelming, exhausting, draining trip; sorry I can’t really give more details. Or, rather, I don’t really want to give more details.<br />

Next week, Esther should be returning to the Land; it looks probable I will extend my stay yet another week, but we’ll see.<br />

Anyway, we’re ''still'' in the US this ''shabbat'', staying at a (good) friend’s house. We’ll also join our Rabbi and his family for a meal.<br />
