{{bheadernew|Oct 16th|http://ronware.org/devar/noah5776.pdf}}

It’s been a difficult week for us in the Holy Land. By now, even those of you who get your news from “mainstream” sources have heard of the unrelenting onslaught of “rage” from the Arabs here in Israel. The coverage outside Israel has been as tepid and misleading as usual, but we have to live with the reality:

* The ''capo'' of the “Palestinian Authority”, Abbas, accused Israel of “shooting and killing in cold blood” an “innocent Arab boy”. Unsurprisingly, that “innocent boy” was a terrorist who was not shot, [http://www.jpost.com/Arab-Israeli-Conflict/Photo-of-Palestinian-stabber-proves-Abbas-execution-victim-still-alive-426018 and is alive and well and being treated in an Israel hospital].
* According to John Kerry, [http://www.breitbart.com/national-security/2015/10/14/kerry-jewish-settlements-blame-palestinian-terror-spree/ the “settlements” are responsible for the terror spree]. Despite that lying sack of sh*t’s statements, there has been ''no'' increase in the “settlements” for many years now. Not to mention that…
* There were no “settlements” in Hebron in [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1834_Hebron_massacre 1834] or in [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1929_Hebron_massacre 1929] — well before the modern State of Israel came into existence. Or that…
* There were [http://mfa.gov.il/MFA/AboutIsrael/Maps/Pages/1948-1967-%20Major%20Terror%20Attacks.aspx tons of Arab terrorist attacks] prior to 1967. So much for the “West Bank” and “territories” being the “cause” of anything.

The real cause of the “cycle of violence” is that Arabs in general, and Muslims in particular, imbibe hatred and intolerance with their mother’s milk. They are weaned on violence, and [http://www.nationalreview.com/article/425498/palestinian-attacks-third-intifada-israel raised to murder]. Taught to [http://www.thereligionofpeace.com/quran/011-taqiyya.htm lie to any non-Muslim], they are the ultimate in a “fifth-column”. I’m [http://www.jpost.com/Blogs/Real-Clear-Israel/Awakening-The-Global-Islamic-Jihad-Fifth-Column-in-the-West-387202 certainly not the first] to mention this; but unfortunately, our political class in the West is unwilling to confront this uncomfortable truth: that Islam is not compatible with Western civilization.

Yesterday, the PA Arabs [http://www.israelnationalnews.com/News/News.aspx/201985#.ViCbahOqqko burned down Joseph’s tomb], near Shekhem (what the Arabs call [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nablus “Nablus”], since the goat-rapers couldn’t pronounce the Greek word “Neapolis”). It seems to me we need to institute a return to [http://www.mechon-mamre.org/p/pt/pt0134.htm#25 Shimon and Levi’s policy towards the Shekhemites]. In lieu of that, Israelis [http://www.haaretz.com/news/diplomacy-defense/1.680224 resorted to unconventional weapons].

Well, enough for my personal [http://www.timesofisrael.com/israel-braces-for-new-violence-as-hamas-declares-day-of-rage/ “day of rage”]. More to come, most likely.

Sarah had a wonderful vacation and was almost sad to return. She said that Greece is pretty similar to Israel in a number of ways. For example, [http://ronware.org/notthekotel.jpeg this is not the Western Wall (''kotel'')]. The people in Greece behave a lot like Israelis do: yelling, pushing, and smelling. The main difference being that Greek is incomprehensible. To her, anyway. In general, Greece looks a lot like Israel, except that the ancient sites are all pagan. Here’s [http://ronware.org/happysarah.jpeg a nicer picture] of Sarah enjoying the scenery.

She returned to the Land on a particularly bad day, when there was a lot of “stuff” going on. Even though I am usually at home, on that very day I had to meet someone in Jerusalem, and as I was standing there I counted ''fifteen'' ambulances racing by — clearly, not a case of a heart-attack. Anyway, she and I both made it back home without incident, and the meeting I had was actually productive.

I’ve been busily working away on my product. Besides working on user feedback, fixing bugs and adding features, I also [https://8th-dev.com/survey.html created a survey] asking our users for their thoughts. So far, they have been almost universally positive; we’ll wait a bit longer to give more people a chance to respond before we draw conclusions.

Esther had an exhausting week. The IRS neither slumbers nor sleeps, and they take their deadlines most seriously; so Esther was heads-down all week finishing her clients’ returns before the deadline. Now, B”H, she’s done with that stressful period and can relax a little. Looking forward to a less frantic week!

The weather’s been warm but is supposed to cool down over the next several days, and perhaps even rain when we start asking for rain again in our daily prayers. That would be nice!

Sarah’s back, B”H! This ''shabbat'' we’ll have:<br>
roast beef,
''salatim'',
vegetable stir-fry,
rice,
''tarta de acelga'',
tuna salad,
sweet and spicy eggplant,
other things,
and “just cake”.

Until next time,<br>
''shabbat shalom''!
