What a wacky week! The Houthis managed to hit Ramon airport (a small, domestic-flights-only airport). A couple Hamas-affiliated terrorists went on a shooting spree that killed six and wounded many more. Then, we took out the Hamas leadership in Qatar (still unclear how successfully). A major influential figure on the Right was assassinated. And the Spanish PM laments ES doesn’t have nukes to use against Israel.
Welp. That sure escalated quickly!
I was awakened on Thursday morning by sharp pains in my right side. Eventually they subsided, only to re-occur multiple times. We went to the clinic and got a referral for an ultrasound and some blood tests. But the earliest ultrasound appointment I could get isn’t until next week. So we’ll have to wait. Hopefully I’ll be in less pain over shabbat…
… but the fact this attack occurred the day after we restocked our wine and meat larders is highly suspicious!
Various and sundry:
- The retard flotilla is still wending its way. I hope we do the funniest thing…
- My friend comments: not a “windscreen day”.
- Preston Stewart: nowhere is safe for Hamas.
- We’re presumably expanding our town soon. I’ll believe it when it actually happens.
- And the “Wikimedia Foundation”, the nonprofit which hosts “Wikipedia”, is getting investigated over its exceptionally biased editing practices when it comes to anything Israel related.
Nerdism: I put together a “component tester”, which should have been a one-hour project. Instead, because I used an unsupported “Arduino” version, it took a day or so, and I had to use a different Arduino. I also had to change the code so it would use the OLED screen I have. Live and learn!
I also continued the vaunted office-cleanup, not that one could tell by looking at the office…
The weather should be nice enough this shabbat, though it remains to be seen if I will be stepping outside. At the moment, I’m not feeling 100%.
This shabbat, it’s just us. We’ll have (at least):
homemade ḥalla,
ḥamud,
various salatim,
melon,
and cinnamon cake.
Until next time,
shabbat shalom!
