I’m so replete with rage, I can barely write coherently, let alone refrain from using expletives; but I shall try.

Once again, three hostages were released from the hell of Gaza, in poor condition. Then, this Thursday, four murdered hostages were released from there, amidst joyful celebrations of Gazans — young and old, terrorists and “innocent”.

There are no innocents in Gaza, save the few remaining living hostages, and perhaps children under the age of two. We need to wreak such Biblical-scale vengeance upon Gaza, that odes will be written about it and recited for centuries, and hearts will quail with fear even contemplating hurting a Jew anywhere. That’s what is necessary, but I’m afraid our leaders aren’t up to the task. We’ll see.

Yes, I’m in favor of obliterating every single one of them from the face of the planet. Let God sort them out. Make the rubble bounce, baby!

Update: as of this writing, it has been confirmed that the older man Oded Lifshits as well as the two Bibas brothers were definitely identified in the returned coffins. But their mother Shiri Bibas was not, rather the body returned was a random Arab woman.

Gaza must be burned to the ground. Now.

Other things:

The weather was very nice the first half of this week, so I spent four days doing necessary tree-trimming etc. in the garden for several hours each day. I’d hoped it would make me lose some weight, but it’s not looking hopeful.

It turned cold and rainy later in the week, and it will be colder and rainier for shabbat. Sunday/Monday we might even get some snow, so that’s something to look forward to.

This shabbat our menu includes:
homemade ḥallah, vegetable soup, chicken schnitzel, ptitim, various salatim, and cookies.

Until next time,
shabbat shalom!
