Recipes/Blasted peppers

A very simple recipe, takes 15 minutes.

Ingredients:

  • two red bell peppers
  • two green hot peppers
  • olive oil
  • salt
  • juice of half a lemon

Slice the bell peppers and the hot peppers into strips (take out the seeds from both). Bring the frying pan with oil to a very hot point (just before the oil starts to smoke). Add the peppers and "stir fry" them with the pan on high heat, so the surface of the peppers gets blistered. Add salt to taste and continue to stir-fry until the peppers are all limp (but not completely soft). Take off the heat, add the lemon juice and put in a container in the refrigerator ... this is a cold salad.
